Yak Bar website development and photography.
The Yak Bar is an inner city venue situated on the corner of Russel Street and Flinders Lane, catering to a range of clients and offering both food and cocktails in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The bar has evolved over the last few years to shift towards a more modern aesthetic, with the interior moving towards dark tones and a range of high quality additions to the cocktail list that was not reflected in their marketing collateral.
The visual identity of the Yak marketing collateral was in need of an overhaul, and to reflect the evolution of the bar towards modern simplicity the venue itself became the focal point of all design outcomes. High quality photography of the food and drink served at the bar was shot, and this formed the basis for the development of the identity of the website and signage development. The food and drink imagery was followed with shots of the bar in action, and then interior spaces available for functions and for the general public.
This range of high quality imagery translates into a simple yet powerful identity, with signage and website reflecting the bar itself as being the drawcard for customers wanting a venue that can cater to their every need.
